ENTERTAINMENT:- BRYAN SINGER, DIRECTOR OF X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, accused of raping A MINOR IN 1999

A complaint was filed Wednesday against the director of X -Men : Days of Future Past , Bryan Singer, who is accused of drugging and raping a 17 year old boy in 1999 , according to court documents . The complaint argues that Signer, now aged 48 , " has used his power, his fortune and his place in the film industry to sexually abuse and exploit the minor complainant through drugs, alcohol , threats and incentives . "

The complainant is identified by the name of Michael F. Egan III , in the court documents and the press release sent by his lawyers. Is a resident of Nevada who grew up in the Midwest and moved to Los Angeles with his family when he was a teenager to take off his acting career . Egan, now aged 31 , is affirmed heterosexual.
Counsel for the Director denies the charges . "The declarations against Bryan Singer are completely false and baseless ," said Martin Singer The Hollywood Reporter in a statement. " There is no doubt that Bryan will be exonerated in this absurd and defamatory matter. Obviously this complaint was made to advertise a few weeks before the theatrical release of the new film by Bryan . "
( Although they have the same surname, Bryan Singer and Singer Martin are not of the same family . )

The facts date back to 1998 when Egan had attended a party in Encino, California , where his high school friend Scott Shackley lived. According to the complaint , this house - property M & C - was known for its unique festivals, where adult men had to dredge adolescents. The complaint says the owner , Marc Collins- Rector , violated Egan and even threatened with a weapon, but it is not named among the defendants . Collins- Rector and his roommate at the time, Chad Chackley , worked for Digital Entertainment Network, one of the first companies streaming.
( Collins- Rector was accused in 2002 of transporting five minor to another state to have sex with them. Former director of web chain pleaded guilty two years later. Collins- Rector , now 54 years old is recognized as a sex offender . )

According to the complaint , Singer infringed Egan in the ownership of Paul Mitchell Hawaii. He would have given drugs and alcohol to aspiring actor , allegedly forced to snort cocaine and have pushed into a pool where he would have held his head under water . The complaint also says Egan Singer forced to fellate him - in the pool and out of the pool - before sodomizing the complainant strength.
Singer argues that these acts were accompanied by threats and promises of a job, according to court documents .
"Sexual exploitation of children is a big problem in Hollywood ," said Egan 's lawyer , Jeff Herman, according to Variety . " It will not be the last case I'll be treated to allow these victims to speak and explain the problem to light. " The complainant requests Undisclosed sum Singer and seeks damages for intentional emotional distress , assault and battery , assault and invasion of privacy by intrusion excessive .
Herman had represented five plaintiffs who accused the puppeteer of Elmo in 1 Sesame Street , Kevin Clash , sexual abuse . Three of these complaints were closed because there were prescription, but the plaintiffs have appeal. The fourth complainant withdrew the complaint, but the trial continues for the fifth .
